ASEAN Youth Ambassadors

Promoting the voices of young people and building a robust platform for their leadership has been a founding objective of this Network since its inception. We recognize that any effort to champion Australian values and foster social cohesion remains incomplete—and ultimately unsustainable—without the energy, insight, and active participation of the next generation.

Our youth are mentored to advocate for the broader community, including First Nations peoples, ensuring their leadership is grounded in deep respect and cultural awareness.

Our platforms empower young people to take leadership roles and advocate for their communities. In doing so, we put into practice the core values of respect, compassion, and inclusion enshrined in our Constitution.

The Youth Team is proactive in their advocacy, taking the initiative to engage directly with government stakeholders. By positioning themselves at the strategic intersection of policy and community.
