
Tristan is a policy and advocacy professional with cross-sector experience spanning government, NGOs, and international organisations with a great passion for geo-politics and curiosity about other cultures and peoples. He has demonstrated skill and experience in strategic communications, administration, research, and navigating complex policy environments, with a strong regional focus on the Asia-Pacific and Near East.
Since graduating with Bachelor of Arts in International Relations in 2023, he had dedicated his efforts to advocating for the betterment of Armenian-Australians and building bridges between communities in Australia to build a more socially cohesive society.
During his years of service with the Armenian National Committee of Australia (ANC-AU), he was proud to be a part of numerous advocacy campaigns and initiatives, including partaking and assisting with an Australian Parliamentary delegation to Armenia during wartime, bearing witness to the exodus of over 100,000 ethnic Armenian refugees from Artsakh.
In recent years, his commitment to community advocacy and cooperation led to him receiving the ASEAN Founders Medal (AFM) as well as appointment as an ASEAN Youth Ambassador and subsequently to a position on the Board of Directors within the ASEAN framework. These roles have broadened his perspective and strengthened commitment to public service.
